Report on 12th International Conference on Concrete Pavements: “Making Waves with Durable and Resilient Concrete Pavements”
Responsible organisation
2022 (English)Report (Other academic)
Abstract [en]

This report summarises the attended presentation of 12th International Conference on Concrete Pavement (ICCP) that was held virtually from 27th of September to 1st of October 2021, with the theme “Making Waves with Durable and Resilient Concrete Pavements”. The 12th ICCP focussed on information about new technologies related to the design, construction and rehabilitation of various concrete pavements. The 12th ICCP was initially scheduled for August 2020 in Minnesota, USA, but the global COVID-19 pandemic has continued to spread. Considering health measures around the world, international travel feasibility, and limited travel for U.S. state agencies, the 12th ICCP organizing committee worked diligently to find the best solution for conference attendees, venues, and the society itself. Ultimately, the best decision was made for all involved to hold the 12th ICCP 2021online. The international conference was hosted by a virtual campus named “The Aggregate”, consisted of three auditoriums (cement, water and sand ) and two conference halls (Conference hall A and B). The forum had offered 698 participants from 30 countries and 38 U.S. states, including 96 presentations (both live and pre-recorded) in 24-technical sessions, workshops on a broad range of concrete pavements, the student pitch networking event andinteractive networking opportunities include public and private chat. Different presentations were being given simultaneously in different sessions. I had selected below eighteen presentations as these presentations' goals were more understandable and intresting. This report summarises presentations that the author of this report had attended during 12th ICCP.
